Chemfort® Bag Adaptor CP

The Chemfort® Bag Adaptor CP firmly connects to a standard IV bag or semi-rigid container to one of the Chemfort® closed administration sets.

A “click” sound indicates a safe, closed connection between two Chemfort® components. The self-sealing elastomers prevent hazardous drug leakage and droplet formation on the outer septa surfaces.

A simple pinch on the Syringe Adaptor / Syringe Adaptor Lock wings will safely disconnect the SA/SAL from the Bag Adaptor CP. The Chemfort® Bag Adaptor CP is PVC-free.

CSTDs Keep Nurses Safe

Using Closed System Transfer Devices (CSTDs) is essential to ensure safety for nurses when handling hazardous drugs. Repeated exposure over time to these drugs has been shown to increase the risk of adverse health effects, including miscarriages and some types of cancer. Use of CSTDs and closed administration components like the Chemfort® Bag Adaptor CP by nurses has been shown to reduce contamination by hazardous drugs in hospital wards. This protects nurses, patients, patient families and the environment.
