The development of these guidelines was funded by Western and Central Melbourne Integrated Cancer Service (WCMICS) as part of a project commissioned to develop safe handling guidelines for novel anti-cancer agents.

The guidelines recommend a range of available interventions / safeguards to minimize occupational exposure. CSTDs such as Chemfort™ are recommended (grade III-D).
